Iced Matcha with Carob Molasses

For 1 person

 

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 200ml milk (plant-based or regular) 
  • 1 tsp matcha powder 
  • 30ml hot water (70–80°C) 
  • 5g carob molasses 
  • Ice cubes 

 

Preparation:

 

  1. In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with 30 ml of hot water until smooth and slightly frothy.
  2. Pour the carob molasses into a transparent glass. 
  3. Add the ice cubes, then pour in the milk. 
  4. Slowly pour the matcha mixture over the top to create a nice layered effect. 
  5. Stir lightly before drinking.
