Halloween Candies with Mulberry & Rose Syrup

Difficulty: Easy

Preparation time: 10 mins

For about 50 candies

 

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 50g rose syrup diluted in 50cl water
  • 50g mulberry syrup diluted in 50cl water 
  • 6 gelatin leaves 
  • ½ lemon 
  • 3 tbsp icing sugar 

     

    Ustensils:

     

    • Silicone ice cube trays  

     

    Preparation:

     

    1. In a bowl of cold water, soften the gelatin leaves and squeeze out the excess water. 
    2. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon. 
    3. In a saucepan, heat the mulberry syrup, water, and half the lemon juice. 
    4. In another saucepan, heat the rose syrup, water, and the remaining lemon juice. 
    5. Once boiling, remove the pan from the heat. 
    6. Add 3 gelatin sheets to each mixture. 
    7. Pour the mixtures into silicone ice cube trays. 
    8. After cooling, remove from the mold and coat with powdered sugar.
