Light Pancakes with Extra Fig Jam & Sesame

Difficulty: Easy

Preparation time: 20 mins

For 8 pancakes 

 

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 150g flour 
  • 2 eggs 
  • 100ml milk 
  • 1 tbsp honey 
  • 1 baking powder sachet 
  • A pinch of salt 
  • Extra Fig Jam with Sesame 
  • A few sesame seeds for garnish 

 

Preparation:

 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. 
  2. Add the eggs and honey, then gradually pour in the milk while whisking until the batter becomes smooth and even. 
  3. Let the batter rest for 15 to 30 mins at room temperature. 
  4. In a lightly oiled hot pan, pour a small ladle of batter. Once bubbles appear on the surface, flip the pancake and cook the other side until golden brown. 
  5. Stack the warm pancakes and generously top them with Terroirs du Liban Extra Fig Jam with Sesame Seeds. 
  6. Finish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds for a delicate crunchy touch.
